Welcome to Harmony Public Schools’ Austin District!

Austin is a great place to live and grow, and my dedicated staff of professionals and I are committed to helping our students attain their highest academic potential.

Here in Austin, our seven campuses serve nearly 4,100 students through providing rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum that will successfully prepare them for the challenges of higher education and life.

Harmony Public Schools has served the Austin area since 2002. Our mission is to prepare students for higher learning in a safe, caring, and collaborative atmosphere through a quality, learner-centered educational program with a strong emphasis on science, technology, engineering, and math.

  • 163 seniors in 2017, 146 graduated in 2016
  • 53% of students on free and reduced lunches
  • All district high schools are TSTEM designated
  • 455 currently on staff in the district
  • 22 AP courses and 5 dual credit courses

Academics

High school and middle schoolers have access to STEM, college prep, and aquatic adventure camps through Texas State University and The University of Texas at Austin.

High level STEM clubs include: Rocketry, Science Olympiad, Science Bowl, FLL and FTC Robotics, Math Counts, Math League, and Girls Who Code. Elite Science Fairs include Austin Energy- Statewide; Intel- Nationwide participation, Internal District Science Fairs, H-SEF and ISWEEEP
